## Theme Music Review > [!rank-5] Rank (M3R Rank:: 5) > [M3R Rating:: 5/4/4/5] > [M3R Grade:: S] ![top right bleedup|180](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/megaman/images/3/35/Flameman.png) My favorite theme from _Mega Man 6_, which **Yuko Takehara** composed the entirety of. Tomahawk Man is a close second in terms of bangers, but Flame Man has this unique combination of playfulness and energy that stands out. The three-part progression builds nicely - we go from a lighthearted and carefree start, to a more more mysterious whimsical middle section, finally ending in a high energy east-Indian sounding groove that ties in nicely to the turban-wearing, fire-wielding Robot Master. A great use of vibrato in this track as well — it’s used to great effect in other tracks as well, but in this one it seems to gel with the style particularly well. Yuko also composed my favorite theme from *Mega Man 7* - Junk Man, so that makes **two** tracks from her that ended up being my favorite from their respective games. Not to mention her work on the Capcom "VS" series stuff that I love…this might be her sole entry in the top ten, but I'm glad she made it in so I could mention her. Flame Man is just a rock-solid track that has a little bit of everything you love about Mega Man music. %% start banner %% > [!svc-HHH]- ⇧Aesthetics // ⇧Originality // ⇧Intellect || “Brilliant” [color:: HHH] %% end banner %% > [!info] Fun facts > The [Rockman Complete Works](https://megaman.fandom.com/wiki/Rockman_Complete_Works) version is kinda cool, but the arrangement is also kinda goofy so I prefer the NES version. There's also a really great [OC ReMix of this track](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W590ku9x1Yc) from back in the day that I kept in rotation for quite a while! %% start m3rnext %%Continue: [[Star Man - Mega Man 5|Rank 4]] →%% end m3rnext %%
