I’d say it’s going for a sort of “dark whimsy” in terms of tone—not actually trying to scare you, but more of Saturday morning cartoon kind of scary, which fits the overall bubbly nature of *Mega Man 7* nicely. **Yuko Takehara** is also the composer for Junk, Burst, Slash Man for this game. He also composed all the Robot Master themes for *Mega Man 6* before this, and of course returned for a theme on *Mega Man 10* afterward. He’s got some creds, in other words. %% start banner %% > [!svc-HHM]- ⇧Aesthetics // ⇧Originality // ⥊Intellect || “Eccentric” [color:: HHM] %% end banner %% > [!info] Fun Facts > Shade Man’s level, to my knowledge, is the only one to ever get a secrete bonus theme—if you input a code while selecting him, the theme will change to that of the first level of *Ghouls n’ Ghosts*, another popular Capcom title for SNES. > Contents %% start m3rnext %%Continue: [[Tornado Man - Mega Man 9|Rank 13]] →%% end m3rnext %%
