## Theme Music Review <audio controls src="https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/megaman/images/1/1b/Tornado_Man_Stage.mp3"></audio> > [!rank-13] Rank (M3R Rank:: 13) > [M3R Rating:: 4/3/4/5] > [M3R Grade:: A]  This might sound a bit weird considering the rating I gave it, but I consider this to be very close to a "perfect" Mega Man track. Although I think a better word might be "quintessential" - it just perfectly encapsulates what a Mega Man song aims to be, which itself does not require originality or even complexity (those things still make a track special, mind you). The energy here is absolutely kinetic, hectic, and maybe some other words that end in "tic"…point being that the energy speaks to the theming of tornadoes in *some* way. Wind is not necessarily the first thing I think of when hearing this song in a vacuum, but in terms of the atmosphere befitting of a Mega Man level, it's got that fighting-to-save-the world vibe that does all the lifting it needs to. Compositionally, I count five distinct sections that are all different - pretty impressive for a Mega Man track. We have the intro that also doubles as the loop point (a technique you hear quite a bit, actually) and it works very well here. We then have the A section that establishes the energy, moving on to the bridge-like B section, and then coming to the outro-like C section. This is were most earlier Mega Man tracks would wrap things up, not that doesn't happen here - instead we get a final section that itself repeats, adding a bit more length before gently segueing back into the intro. It's the perfect compositional structure for a Mega Man track in my opinion. **Ippō Yamada** has exactly one track in this list, and this is it. He mostly worked on the Zero series before this, and did actually return for *Mega Man 10*, just not for any Robot Master themes.
