Love the energy, as well as the choice to use the trumpet sound for the main melody instead of guitars—between X1, 2 and 3, I feel like X1 tends to do this a lot more than the others. And yet, we don’t skimp on the guitar work, what with the rockin’ solo we get at the end before the loop. **Setsuo Yamamoto** composed for four of the eight mavericks in X, and pretty much the rest of the sound track, minus the password theme. A lot of his other stuff for Capcom seems to be arrangements rather than compositions, but his style is great, so I’m glad he got to cover a lot of X1. ^preview %% start banner %% > [!svc-HHM]- ⇧Aesthetics // ⇧Originality // ⥊Intellect || “Eccentric” [color:: HHM] %% end banner %% %% start m3rnext %%Continue: [[Spark Mandrill - Mega Man X|Rank 1]] →%% end m3rnext %%
